Jane Goodhall, Yves Duteil and Matthieu Ricard winners of the 25th Citizen of the World Artist Award

On Thursday, December 10, 2015, on the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, within the framework of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP21),  »l’Institut Citoyen du Cinéma » proposed a symposium the support of Sen. Sylvie Goy Chavent at the Palais du Luxembourg (Senate) around Faeryland directed by Maga Ettori. On this occasion were announced by Souad Amidou, the winners of the 25th Citizen of the World Award Artist : Jane Goodhall – Yves Duteil – Matthieu Ricard. For reasons related to the organization of the meeting, the trophy designed by Gad Weil, at the request of the Minister of Ecology, was released the same day by Magà Ettori Jane Goodall at the City of Science. Other prizes will be awarded to Yves Duteil and Mathieu Ricard, during a ceremony held power in January 2016. The Citizen Film Institute founded in 1990 the “Citizen of the World Artist Award”, echoing the fundamental issues of the United Nations, namely to achieve international cooperation in solving international problems of an economic, social , cultural or humanitarian character and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion. The “Artist Award Citizen of the World” award for the twenty fifth time, artists for their commitment to peace, living together, cultural diversity, the absolute freedom of conscience, biodiversity and respect for all life, harmony with nature, the defense and promotion of human rights as well as those of the animal kingdom. The sponsor of the Citizen of the World Artist Award is the Arkema Group
